Split Sleeve

Rugged, reliable PLIDCO® Split Sleeves are widely used for making permanent repairs to pipelines and process piping. They are used for repairs to both high and low pressure and temperature pipe carrying oil, gas, steam, chemical process and water. Their unique construction permits making the repairs while the line continues on-stream.

Split Sleeves are designed for fast and easy installation. Steel Girder Rings hold factory-installed packings firmly in place to prevent their displacement by leaking fluids during installation. Once the fitting is fully bolted in place, the seal is complete. It may be completely seal-welded with pipeline in operation.

Product Details

Plidco® Split Sleeves are designed to ASME code section VII and API 6H.  CRN Numbers available.

Standard Body Materials:

  • ASTM A106 Gr. C
  • ASTM A216 Gr. WCC
  • ASTM A516 Gr. 70
  • Standard Bolting is ASTM A193 Br. B7 with ASTM A194 Gr. 2H Nuts

Working Pressure: 1000 psig is standard.  Other working pressures available upon request.

Seal Materials: Buna-N Packing is standard.  Viton, Silicone and other packing available upon request.

Options:

  • Marine epoxy paint for corrosion protection
  • Hinges for ease of installation and handling
  • Vents per customer specifications
  • Anodes for cathodic protection
  • NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 compliant materials
  • ASME 31.3
